Saphir #05 Dark Brown Mirror Gloss Wax Polish

Saphir's Mirror Gloss Medaille d'Or® (translates to 'Gold Medal Mirror Gloss') is a hard wax polish containing a higher concentration of hard waxes such as montan, carnauba, and beeswax. This high wax content makes it much easier to produce a high-gloss, mirror shine finish on shoes.

Mirror shine is one of the most difficult polishing techniques to accomplish. Expertly formulated, this gloss contains the perfect proportion of hard waxes & pine-based turpentine solvent necessary to achieve the best drying, holding, & gloss possible. Mirror Gloss produces quick mirrored results that far exceed other ordinary polishes. 

Saphir Mirror Gloss wax is a specialty product that should only be used on the surfaces of the shoe that do not bend or flex. It is not a "daily polish" wax and should never be used on the entire shoe. If you are looking for a wax polish for all-over coverage and regular use, we recommend Saphir Pâte de Luxe Shoe Polish. The Saphir Mirror Gloss wax polish does not provide any nourishment or moisture.

Saphir's Mirror Gloss Wax Polish makes the mirror gloss technique easier to achieve, however, please keep in mind that the mirror gloss is one of the most difficult polishing techniques to accomplish. It is a rewarding skill that requires practice & patience to perfect.

The high concentration of hard waxes in Saphir's Mirror Gloss makes the polish apply very dry. It helps to use more water than used in normal polishing & requires slightly more pressure when buffing.
