Taking inspiration from the beauty of the mandala, this dye pattern is created by a layering of brushstrokes that fan out in a semicircle across the face & back of the toe. Like the mandala it references, the deconstructed pattern represents the universe & symbolizes the idea that life is never endign. Each brushmark is pulled from the bottom center to the outer edges of the tote. Once completed, the layers of crimson dye resemble a sunset on the horizon; solidifying the interconnected spirit of the piece. Every tote is painted freehand making each one a unique work of art.
